We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The types of information we collect include:

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, and physical address.
  • Identity Verification: For service providers, we collect Government-issued IDs (Aadhaar, PAN), professional certifications, and profile photographs.
  • Financial Information: Bank account details (for provider payouts) and payment method identifiers (via our secure gateways).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We log how you interact with our services, including search queries, viewed services, and crash reports.
  • Device Information: Device model, OS version, hardware identifiers, and IP address.

2. Why We Need Specific Permissions

To provide a functional marketplace experience, our mobile application requires several permissions. Here is exactly why we use them:

  • Location (GPS & Network): We use precise location data to connect Customers with the nearest available Providers, calculate travel times, and allow you to select service addresses accurately on maps.
  • Camera & Photos: Required for uploading profile pictures and verifying identity documents (Aadhaar/PAN). Providers use this to showcase their work and complete KYC.
  • Microphone: Used to facilitate voice calls between Customers and Providers directly through the app to coordinate service logistics without revealing private phone numbers (via Twilio).
  • Push Notifications: Necessary for real-time updates on booking status, chat messages, and service reminders.
  • Advertising ID: We use the Google Advertising ID (on Android) and IDFA (on iOS) solely for internal analytics to understand app performance and improve our marketing efforts.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is processed based on "Lawful Purposes" under the DPDP Act of India:

  • Service Fulfillment: Matching providers with customers and processing payments.
  • Security: Verifying user identities to prevent fraud and ensure safety.
  • Communication: Sending booking confirmations, OTPs, and support replies.
  • Internal Analytics: Improving app performance and user experience.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Marketplace Participants: Limited info (Name, Phone, Location) shared between customer and provider for confirmed bookings.
  • Payment Processors: Razorpay and Cashfree for secure transaction handling.
  • Service Partners: Infrastructure providers (AWS), communication services (Twilio), and analytics providers (Google Analytics).

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

We respect your right to be forgotten.

  • Deletion Request: You can request account deletion via the app settings. Once requested, your account is immediately deactivated and hidden.
  • 14-Day Grace Period: We retain your data for a grace period of 14 days before permanent erasure. If you log back in within this window, the deletion request is automatically canceled.
  • Purge: After 14 days of inactivity following a deletion request, all PII is permanently deleted from our primary databases, excluding records we are legally required to keep (e.g., tax/financial logs).

6. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security including TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. Access to sensitive KYC documents is strictly restricted to our compliance team.
